What is Story Circle Florida?
Story Circle Florida is a live storytelling event series that celebrates the legends, folklore and unbelievable true stories of the Sunshine State.
We bring together storytellers, comedians, historians and everyday Floridians to share their funniest, strangest and most jaw-dropping experiences on stage.
Stories are captured on video and shared online, extending their life beyond the live experience.
Why Florida?
Florida has always been a land of storytellers. From ancient Seminole myths to Florida Man headlines, our state is a goldmine of legendary tales.
A state full of unforgettable stories – Shipwrecks, pirates, ghost towns, astronauts, theme park chaos and legendary locals.
Unique communities – Florida is home to multiple diverse communities eager for unique entertainment.
A storytelling tradition – Folklore, oral history and larger-than-life characters define Florida’s culture.

THE STORYTELLERS
Our storytellers come from all walks of life - locals with wild personal experiences, historians, comedians, performers, journalists, adventurers and anyone with a tale that could only happen in Florida.
Each storyteller is carefully selected to ensure a diverse mix of voices and stories that entertain, inspire and bring people together.
THE VENUES
We bring storytelling to Florida’s most unique and vibrant spaces - from historic theaters to cozy cafes, community centers, comedy clubs and even outdoor venues under the stars.
Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a high-energy stage show, each event is crafted to fit its setting.
WHERE IN FLORIDA?
We’re hitting major cities like Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Tallahassee, but we also want to celebrate Florida’s smaller towns and hidden gems!

Who is behind Story Circle?
Founded by (me) Liam Rogers and supported by my partner Nick Rogers, we are two Florida-obsessed Brits with a professional background in events, marketing, communications, writing, filmmaking and photography.
In London, we grew TEDxKingstonUponThames from 50 people in a small room to a 1000-person audience in a professional theatre - an event we sold out on multiple occasions.
At its peak, it was the second-biggest TEDx event in London and one of the biggest in the country. We curated stories from people all over the world and videos from our events have been viewed over 1.5 million times online.
Professionally, I am a career marketing and events manager with the experience to grow an audience and organise killer events.
Nick is an accomplished public speaker, podcast host, communications professional and writer. He’s also an airship nerd, but that’s another story.
